Do I Really Sound Like That? My Interview With AFP

May 13, 2008 – 6:52 pm

I had the privilege of doing a short interview with Chris Graham of the Augusta Free Press earlier today. We talked about hbblogs, how it developed, and the sort of service its intended to provide. But all I can think of as I’m listening to it is “gosh, is my voice really that high-pitched?” Listen to the podcast for yourself by going here: http://augustafreepress.com/2008/05/13/webcast-the-man-behind-hbblogscom/

Over in the poll area, the clear winner was “weekly poll,” but honestly I’m not sure what questions I could possibly poll that wouldn’t either be boring, stupid, or divisive. So instead I’m going with “none of the above” and using that space to highlight any recent press releases listed in the press room. I really would like to see that feature become a popular aspect of the site, so I figure I’ll give extra prominence to any press release that goes up. Right now there’s just the one about hbblogs, I know, but I imagine there will be others. And if not, maybe I’ll try a poll after all.

  2. Not bad! This service works really well. Thanks for doing it. Your voice sounds fine to me.
